Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Athens

Upon arrival you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel by our friendly staff. Settle and take a relaxing nap. Then venture out refreshed to acquaint yourself with this magnificent city. You can end your day in one of the many lively Tavernas having a delicious Greek dinner and enjoy yourself by dancing the famous syrtaki while the music of bouzouki’s will accompany.

Day 02: Athens City Tour

Morning city tour of Athens, among other wonders of the world you will see the Propylaea, Parthenon on Acropolis, Erechteum, Theater of Dionyssos, Hardian’s Arch, Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 03: Athens by Night

Day at leisure to participate in one of our optional tours or for shopping. In the evening you will be picked up from your hotel for Athens by night tour with dinner and Greek folk dances.

Day 04: Athens – Rhodes

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Rhodes. Upon arrival you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel by our friendly staff. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 05 – 06: Rhodes

Days free to enjoy the variety of activities that there are in this beautiful island blessed by Apollo with light. A story book place. We only name some of them, so according to your preference to choose your favorite one.

  • Tour the historical monuments of the past like Lindos, Ialyssos, Philerimos, Kamiros etc., and bright your spirit with knowledge of one of the most important civilization ever existed, the Hellenic.
  • Stroll along the endless, lonely, sandy beaches or ride a boat on the calm Rhodes sea. Enjoy the winter sun and the beautiful scenery of Kalithea, Rhodes on this unforgettable experience.
  • Walk along the paved medieval narrow streets with the ramparts where the proud insignia are still visible and imagine the flashing armor of Crusading Knights clattered down its streets to challenge the power of Suleiman the magnificent.
  • For golfing enthusiasts there is an 18-hole golf course at Afandou where will enjoy their favorite sport.
  • Try your luck by gambling the nights at the famous Casino in the town of Rhodes.
  • Dance in one of the night clubs or in the Cosmopolitan atmosphere of the Ballroom of Capsis Hotel. Animation program available at your hotel.

Day 07: Rhodes – Crete

At the end of your week in Rhodes you will realize how quick your days passed. You will wish to have a few more but your flight for Heraklion, Crete is waiting, so you’ll be transferred to the airport for your next destination. Upon arrival you will be met, assisted and transferred to your hotel by our friendly staff. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 08 – 10: Crete

Days free for touring, visiting and strolling the island of Crete, the largest of the Greek islands. It is the most southern island and that is why the weather is normally warm throughout the year. It is an exciting and fascinating island, home of King Minos, with the famous Labyrinth and its beast the Minotaurus, half man, half bull. There are so many places of interest on the island that we can only name few of them, such as Malia, Phaestos, Zakros, the exotic beach of Vai with the unique Palm grove, Lassithi with its thousands of white-sail windmills, the sacred cave of Dicte at Psychro, where Jupiter was hiding from his father Kronos, Rethimnon with venetian and Islamic monuments. The breath taking gorge of Omalos now national park and others. A lunch or dinner with the taste of Greek aperitif ouzo or the Greek wine retsina and the variety of meals like mousaka, dolmadakia, satziki, lamp or pork souvla and others is a must during your visits in the above places with the company of hospitable villagers. Don’t forget to visit the picturesque mountain village of Fodelle, birthplace of famous painter ‘El Greco’ where you will have a glass of ‘raki’, aperitif with the friendly locals, and the village of Varvari, where is the Museum of the famous writer Nikos Kazantzakis, ‘Zorba’ the Greek one of his best sellers is worldwide known. Don’t miss it!

For fishing enthusiasts, there are many places where they can fish all year round. We name some places among the variety of shores and Rockie bays-Agia Pelagia, Limani Hersonissou, Malia in Cretian sea not too far from Heraklion and Lenta, Kali Limemes, Tsoutsouras in Libian sea about one hour’s trip south of Heraklion.

Day 11: Departure

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to start your journey back home.
